MEETING MINUTES

9/2/2008

Marty Glenn opened the meeting at 7:00 pm.

Meeting minutes from the August meeting were approved.

A very brief re-cap of the August event at Lewisville were discussed. Jeff Lyons then passed out checks to the winners.

Jeff Lyons gave the financial report stating that the club has a total ending balance of $1099.52 and an available balance of $789.52. The big bass pot is at $280.00 and was voted on to be extended to the final tournament for the year in December.

This month we will be fishing Lake Bridgeport going out of Wise County Park. Tournament hours are 6:30 am – 3:00 pm. The lake has a 14”- 18” slot on LMB so please paper those within the slot limit. All other statewide regulations apply.

Please make sure you all have a new 2009 fishing license as the old ones expired on 8/31/08.

John Mahoney volunteered to be this month’s tournament director. His cell number in case you have a problem and need to reach him is 817-368-3142.

Drawings were held for pairings for the Lake Bridgeport event this Saturday. Mike Thornton and Lloyd Walker drew the boater/non-boater pairings.

Lakes for the remaining year were decided on as follows. October – Moss Lake, November – Quitman and December – Monticello.

The meeting concluded just before 8:00 pm.
