MEETING MINUTES

11/4/2008

Marty Glenn opened the meeting at 7:00 pm.

Meeting minutes from the October meeting were approved.

Jeff Lyons gave the financial report stating that the club has a total ending balance of $1234.52 and an available balance of $954.52. The current big bass pot is at $280.00 with two events left.

Marty and Rusty gave a brief overview of the open tournament held by the Colony Bass Club on Lewisville. A few of our members fished it and did well. Lloyd Walker and Bob Pasternak finished second and Rusty Robbins and his partner fished in third.

Marty Glenn gave a brief safety talk about life jackets and boat safety.

This month we will be fishing Joe Pool going out of the state park. Tournament hours are 7:00 am – 3:00 pm. The lake has a 14”- 21” slot on LMB so please paper those within the slot limit. All other statewide regulations apply.

Jonette Stewart volunteered to be this month’s tournament director. Her cell number in case you have a problem and need to reach her is 972-948-7682.

Drawings were held for pairings for the Joe Pool event this Saturday. Rusty Robbins drew the boater/non-boater pairings.

The meeting concluded just before 7:40 pm.
