MEETING MINUTES

7/8/2008

Marty Glenn opened the meeting at 7:00 pm.

Bob Pasternak passed out a few sheets with some tackle listed for sale by a friend of his. Some great deals to be had for sure.

Meeting minutes from the June meeting were approved.

A very brief re-cap of the June event at Ray Roberts was discussed and the event went really well except for that great Texas wind again. The event was won by a guest fishing with the club. Second place went to another guest and Lloyd Walker finished third. Jeff Lyons then passed out checks to the winners.

It was discussed about changing the July Lake Worth event to another lake due to a conflict with another event. It was voted on to have the July event on Grapevine Lake with no off limits. The event will be from 5:00 am – 1:00 pm with the club using the Dove Rd. ramp for weigh-in.

Jeff Lyons gave the financial report stating that the club has a total of $984.34 with an available balance of $704.34.

Marc Skeen volunteered to be this month’s tournament director. His cell number in case you have a problem and need to reach him is 832-279-4612. We also decided that each tournament director provide a contact number for each event in case of emergencies or a change in plans. This way everyone should be accounted for at the weigh-in.

Drawings were held for pairings for the Grapevine Lake event this Saturday. Mike Thornton and Paul Russo drew the boater/non-boater pairings.

The meeting concluded just before 8:00 pm.
