MEETING MINUTES

1/5/2010

Marty Glenn opened the meeting at 7:00 pm.

Meeting minutes from the December meeting were approved.

Marty gave an overview of the club and how we operate for the new members in attendance. He also had a couple caps with our new logo for members to take a look at. The club will be placing an order after next month’s meeting so be thinking about that. Thanks Marty for the great logo design.

Jonette discussed the club banquet that will be held at Logan’s Roadhouse in Lewisville on Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 6-8 pm. This is for all members and their families that fished with us in 2009. If you are planning on attending please let Jonette know ASAP so we have an accurate count of those attending.

Gift cards will be given as prizes along with plaques as we did last year. The club will also be giving each member a $10.00 gift card from Logan’s towards their meal for the evening.

Lloyd Walker will be finalizing the shirts with his supplier and will have that info next month and hopefully we will be ordering at that time for those wanting a tournament shirt.

Bob passed out registration forms for 2010 along with a roster and tournament waiver. The roster will be up-dated after every meeting or when required changes are needed in the information. A new version will then be emailed to all members.

We are pleased to welcome 6 new members to the club. Helen and Scott Gordon, Wade Rahtz, Justin Johns, Matt Schwolert and Kenny Martin. All are boaters except Scott and that’s because Helen won’t let him use the boat. Welcome to all!!

There is a balance of $1263.00 in club funds. All will be given back in some form at the banquet except for a minimal amount to keep the account open.
