MEETING MINUTES

1/6/2009

Marty Glenn opened the meeting at 7:00 pm.

Meeting minutes from the December meeting were approved.

Marty and Jonette gave a brief description of our up coming banquet scheduled for Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Teirneys Café in Lewisville from 6-8 pm. Everyone will have their own tab and pay and tip as usual. When you are leaving Jeff Lyons will be handing each member a $10.00 bill back towards their meal tab.

It was also suggested that our monthly meeting be moved to Teirneys in the future. A member vote will be held at the banquet on this matter.

Bob Pasternak gave a brief review of an article that Rusty Robbins wrote and forwarded to Bob to submit to the paper for publication. Bob did submit the article and also has posted it along with our website on the neighborsgo site which is www.neighborsgo.com to help get the word out and attract new members to the club. Bob will update this area as needed to keep the information current.

A discussion was held on possible rule changes to the year ending championship and this will be finalized and voted on at the February meeting.

Hazards on cold water fishing and safety were discussed.

The meeting concluded around 8:10 pm.
