MEETING MINUTES

2/2/2010

Marty Glenn opened the meeting at 7:00 pm.

Meeting minutes from the January meeting were approved.

Marty gave a brief talk about the club, how the tournaments are run and the responsibilities of the non boater as far as expenses which are listed in our rules and by-laws. He also gave a brief recap of the banquet.

Bob gave a run down on where we stand on the tournament shirts. A short sleeve shirt will run $48.75 and a long sleeve $54.75. Bob will forward the club logo to the shirt company who will come up with several designs that we will be able to pick from.

Lloyd Walker gave a brief talk about the sharelunker program. Lloyd was in a boat a couple weeks ago on lake O.H Ivie when one of his pro staff members caught a 13.09# sharelunker on one of Lloyd’s rod’s that he was trying out while testing one of Xcite Baits new lures.

Jonette Stewart gave the financial report stating that we have a balance of $900.87

Mike Aaron will continue to be the tournament director for the 2010 season. His cell number in case you have a problem and need to reach him is 214-697-5468.

This month we are fishing Lake Monticello. Tournament hours are 7:00 am – 3:00 pm. Monticello has a 14”- 24” slot limit on largemouth bass. Our club also follows the same length on spotted bass. Only 1 over fish is to be brought to the scale so please paper any additional over fish and any within the slot. Both members must verify by sight the length of the fish being papered before releasing the fish or it will not count. Please measure to the closest 1/8 of an inch. All under fish must be brought to the scale to be weighed. Mike will have everyone’s weigh-in slip at the scale when you weigh-in.

Drawings were held for pairings for the Monticello event this Saturday. Wade Rahtz drew the boater/non-boater pairings. There will be 13 boats fishing.
