MEETING MINUTES

2/3/2009

Marty Glenn opened the meeting at 7:00 pm.

Meeting minutes from the January meeting were approved.

Marty gave a brief overview of a new tackle company that he found. He brought a rod and several baits for members to take a look at. Anyone needing additional information contact Marty and he will help you out.

Bob Pasternak reviewed some minor changes to the club’s by-laws. A revised copy will be posted to the website shortly.

Also tournament fees remain the same but the distribution will be as follows:

$5.00 to the club.

4.00 to big bass of tournament.

9.00 1^st place

5.00 2^nd place

3.00 3^rd place

4.00 to the classic fund.

Points will now be awarded in 3 point increments starting from 100 for the winner.

Marty and Bob were nominated to come up with rules and qualifying for the year end Rusty Robbins Classic. They will present these rules at the next meeting.

Jeff Lyons gave the financial report stating that the club has a total ending balance of $316.39 and an available balance of $196.39. The current big bass pot is at $120.00.

This month we will be fishing Lake Monticello. Tournament hours are 7:00 am – 3:00 pm. The lake has a 14”- 24” slot on LMB so please paper those within the slot limit. All other statewide regulations apply.

Jason Porter volunteered to be this month’s tournament director. His cell number in case you have a problem and need to reach him is 972-841-8631.

Drawings were held for pairings for the Monticello event this Saturday. Kerry Kiker drew the boater/non-boater pairings.

The meeting concluded just before 8.00 pm.
