MEETING MINUTES

4/7/2009

Marty Glenn opened the meeting at 7:05 pm.

Meeting minutes from the March meeting were approved.

Marty gave a brief talk again about safety on the water and the importance of life jackets and just the plain use of some common sense. It only takes a second for something to happen so always be prepared while on the water.

Jeff Lyons gave the financial report stating that the clubs available cash is $746.39 and the big bass pot stands at $340.00. The end of month balance is $1,260.39

Bob Pasternak gave a brief explanation of the club’s waiver and why we are requiring it to be in place. This will protect the club and its officers from any liability should something happen.

We would like to welcome a total of 6 new members who joined over the last two months. Wayne Rubbelke joined as a boater. Adam Johnson, Clay Mills and Dennis Bare have joined as non-boaters. Also last month we had Jeff Brown join as a boater and Randy Appelhans join as a non-boater. Welcome guys!!

I will be up-dating the roster with the contact information of our new members and emailing a revised copy to all.

This month we are fishing Ray Roberts which has a 14-24” slot limit. All fish under the slot should be brought to the weigh in along with any over the slot. All fish in the slot should be measured, recorded and then released. The paper weight will be given to you when you weigh your fish or turning your weigh in slip.

Jason Porter volunteered to be this month’s tournament director. His cell number in case you have a problem and need to reach him is 972-841-8631.

Drawings were held for pairings for the Ray Roberts event this Saturday. Marty Glenn and Jeff Lyons drew the boater/non-boater pairings. There will be 12 boats fishing.
