FLOWER MOUND BASS CLUB
MEETING MINUTES
12/1/2009
Marty Glenn opened the meeting at 7:00 pm.
Meeting minutes from the November meeting were
approved.
Marty presented Rusty Robbins a check for being
the winner of the Big Bass contest for the 2009 season. Congrats Rusty!!!!
The 2010 schedule was determined and agreed to by
the membership.
Banquet plans were discussed and it was decided
that the banquet would be held 1/10/2010 from 6-8pm. The place will be
determined in the next couple of weeks and Bob will send an email to all once
Jonette has finalized those plans. Gift cards will be given as prizes along
with plaques as we did last year. The club will also be giving each member
$10.00 towards their meal for the evening.
A vote was taken on getting club shirts and just
how we will proceed on that will be determined after the new season begins. Bob
and Jonette will check with Lloyd Walker as he seemed to have a contact for a reasonably
priced shirt.
Election of 2010 officers was held and all current
officers were “railroaded” to re-election for 2010.
Phil Bradshaw asked about lowering the tournament
fees and after some discussion it was determined that the tournament fees would
remain the same for 2010.
A rule change will be added so that a .5 lb
penalty will be given to a short or illegal fish if the fish is brought to be
weighed. All anglers at anytime will be given a courtesy check before weighing such
fish.
Bob again asked everyone to see if they can bring
1 new member into the club for next year. Troy Howard will be coming back to
the club for 2010 after missing the 2009 season. Welcome back
There is a balance of $1263.00 in club funds. All
will be given back in some form at the banquet except for a minimal amount to
keep the account open.
