MEETING MINUTES

3/3/2009

Marty Glenn opened the meeting at 7:00 pm.

Meeting minutes from the February meeting were approved.

Marty gave an overview of Monticello tournament. He also stressed again about members traveling together as one member did experience trouble with his truck on the way back.

Jeff Lyons gave the financial report stating that the clubs available cash is $586.39 and the big bass pot stands at $340.00.

Bob Pasternak stated that a waiver will be developed and each member will need to sign it. This will protect the club and its officers from any liability should something happen. He also went over the rules for the Rusty Robbins Classic and posted the weigh-in slip for this event to the website.

This month due to Media Bass and questionable ramp conditions a vote was taken and it was decided to switch Purtis Creek which was in September with Joe Pool for this month. Purtis Creek is an all paper tournament so no fish in your livewell. Once measured the fish must be released immediately. A 10” minimum is in effect for the paper chart.

Jason Porter volunteered to be this month’s tournament director. His cell number in case you have a problem and need to reach him is 972-841-8631.

Drawings were held for pairings for the Purtis Creek event this Saturday. Jonette Stewart drew the boater/non-boater pairings. There will be 10 boats fishing.
